I'm back!

After an injury that meant I couldn't run for 4 weeks and a lack of motivation that turned that into 6 weeks I'm finally running again.

Just completed week one day one and I'm wiped which is a little frustrating as I had gotten close to graduating last time I was running.

Never mind, it's a start!

You just have to go really slowly...:)

After I was signed off by the Physio on the 22nd July... I have had to do a walk/run regime..no more than 20 minute runs, either.. no hills and no soft ground... I did my first, proper, just running, run on Friday.. It does pay off..I enjoyed a slow and steady 5K :)

So... take it gently and know that the Badge will still be there, ready when you are :)

Well done for getting back out there. Just take it slow and you'll be back there in no time, injury free! Good luck.

I have had the same time off because of an injury and I'm just easing myself back into running. I seem to have kept at least some of the fitness I'd gained and the all-important mental attitude. Take it steady and I bet you'll be graduating before you know it, it'll be much easier the second time.

Good to have you back LHG. Don't let your other half bully you into running further or faster. Go at your own pace.
