Boo hiss! Just back from W7R2 and I had to stop 20 minutes into the 25 minutes I was aiming for, as my hip decided to start complaining big time. Think it's the classic overuse problem, as I've been trying to get as many sessions in before I go to London later this week, so Ilve only been giving myselff 1 rest day between sessions. Add to that on Saturday I went for a 6-mile walk after having done the ParkRun in the morning, and I think this is my body's way of telling me that I'm not 21 anymore and I can't do all these things without a moment's thought 😥 So it looks like I'll be resting for a few days. I'm going to be sensible and probably won't try to run again until I get back from London. I'll be doing plenty walking while I'm away anyway so I don't reckon fitness will take too much of a hit if I ease off for a week, but it's still annoying (esp when you know it's self-inflicted)

Have a rest for a few days, graduation will happen if you are patient. Enjoy London, you will then be ready to go.
Another lesson learnt and sometimes enthusiasm gets the better of us. Never mind some r and r and you'll be good to go.

Let's hope so. It's not like I don't know- I was just riding my luck but time to put my sensible head on and take it easy for the next couple of days and putting off running (at least) until I get back from London in a week's time
