I've been really struggling after graduating to complete 30 mins running (jogging). I think I've completed one 30 min run since, I'm putting it down to having a cold and not being able to breathe properly. It's been getting to me thinking my fitness levels had taken a nose dive even though I've not had a break from running. Anyway today I was determined to do it and I surpassed it and ran for a full 5k. Took me 39 mins and 5 secs but I did it π. Now I might try a park run.

Staying motivated is one of the hardest things once you finish the program. Well done for running 5k...the time isn't important..you have done it and will do it again. Now you have reached that goal, you can work on it by consolidating your 30 mins and doing Parkrun would be great fun.

Well done on the 5K, especially when you've been feeling a bit under the weather. As for ParkRun- definitely do it. It'll give you something to focus on, even if you don't go every week and they are very friendly events where no-one is judged on their speed or lack of it- it's just a chance to get outside and run in nice surroundings.

Definitely do a Parkrun, the atmosphere is great and you'll probably surprise yourself.
