Finally got to 5k!

Yes, 3 weeks after graduation and numerous awful attempts and dodgy distance measurements but with the help of husbands sports watch gizmo thingy I have actually recorded 5.05k in 33:26! Yippee! Can I say I'm a runner now?

What on earth made you think you weren't one anyway.... when Mr Smooth told me I'd run 3 minutes, i decided there and then I was a runner. You are an amazing runner - what a cracking time.

Ok then I'll take the accolade - I'm a runner! Not sure what the temperature was, probably 17/18 degrees but 35?! You deserve a medal for that! Hope Mr JCR is recovering. I parked Mr Loops under a land rover whilst I ran, he was still there when I returned, a little oilier but still smelled better than me!

Thanks guys! It still feels like an epic struggle when I'm running but I think if I'd got back and then someone had said 'ok, now run round the block' I could have done it. Not sure whether to aim for kilometres or time to push myself forward. Perhaps I'll just wait until I feel more comfortable with my 5k?
