I think most of us have been apprehensive when a 'big' run is looming but have trust in the programme and fight off the gremlins.

Squish the pesky gremlins with each and every slow and steady step!

Trust the programme.. and have faith in you!

You are ready for this totally!

Just take it, as ever steady and slow... you will do it.. know it, believe it and come back and post tomorrow!

"Know" that you can do it. Remember when you thought you couldn't do a much shorter run and then found that you could? Carry that with you, very lightly, and don't even acknowledge the existence of gremlins. They are as nothing to your will power.

My friend sheps is right. You will sneer at 20 Minutes, you will smile at the gremlins quietly weeping in the corner. And you will have added a ton more strength to your will power .

I found that as the weeks went on with c25k, I got slower and slower... From week 6 - 9 I was running very slowly (I'd cover about 2 miles in the half hour) The point is, I'm moving for that full 30 minutes, and now I can begin to pick up the pace. So, slow it RIGHT down. It's that simple. The only objective here is to keep moving.

Do a search for W5R3 and you will find that your fears are amongst the most commonly raised issues on this forum. You will find an equal number of doubters and delighted grinning loons who discovered that they could do it by going nice and slowly, but more importantly by believing that they could do it.

We know you can do it.

I managed that run today and I was really apprehensive but "the programme" got us this far so we are able to do the next run, just take it steady
