Hanging up my running shoes

Hanging up my running shoes

Well, my old ones, anyway! They've taken me through the C25K programme twice, and beyond. You can tell how old they are because they're white – can't get monochrome trainers any more. I got the new ones for when I accompany a friend to the gym as I didn't think my old mud-spattered ones would be very welcome indoors. However, I noticed today that the tread on the old ones was really going. So it's a fond farewell with thanks, dear old trainers, and on with the new!

  • Oooh what a treat for your feet!😊

New comfy shoes will add a new dimension to your run... especially if the old faithfuls are worn underneath.

Happy running in them, let us know how you get on...😊

  • Sexy shoes, they must make you go faster and fly along.... old ones need a state funeral I think. Bury them with honours and a is it a five gun salute?

  • Phew... I thought you were stopping running.. !!

Sassy shoes... and very speedy looking... are they saying to your old ones... " When we grow up, we want to be just like you ? :)

  • Lovely treat - bet your feet love them 😉, also loving the colour! As the saying goes out with the old and in with the new try those babies out and 🏃

  • I think running shops have bins where old shoes get sent to the Great Fun Run in the Sky 🌈
