Well I got out of bed over 14 hours ago after waking an hour before that. Knowing I couldn't run until tonight meant that gave me even longer to think about my run and the fear that comes with each new week. But as always you lovely people got me through. The fear of this week was much stronger than before. I mean last week I was super proud of running a total of 9 minutes but tonight Michael was expecting me to run for a total of 16!!!! ๐ฎ I didn't plan my route but I ended up with a lovely long downhill for the last 2.5mins running and it was truly wonderful and enjoyable. Having that did mean that the whole session before was a gradual incline (some not so gradual but was on a walk thankfully but still burnt!) but it was totally worth it. When Michael told me to stop I almost wanted to ignore him but I listened. For the first time the end of my cool down walk actually got me near to home! Double bonus.
Tonight's picture is a pre run cuddle with my boy Flynn (ignore the chocolate round his mouth) and a snapshot of my Fitbit data. Hard to believe I did that route in half an hour. Going through it in my head it all seems like a dream.
And here's my treble bonus.... my husband just downloaded the app and intends to start week 1 tomorrow!!! ๐๐

Thank you. And well done to you too! I was so tired after very little sleep I really didn't think I could do it. Amazing what your mind can do for you!
I try to go Monday, Wednesday and Friday then enjoy the weekend. However I have a virtual 5km to do in August so planning on doing a Park run one Saturday.
I'm amazed how peaceful I find it having my own thoughts without them being interrupted by the word 'mummy' ๐ don't get me wrong, I love them dearly but 30 mins to myself is amazing x
That cuddle gave me the final push to go. I'm doing this for my kids. I'm showing them that anything is possible and leading by example with getting fit.
So where on earth does that leave the running kit piggy bank fund? Do you have to share it now? Gorgeous boy and wonderful sassy mum too. Well done you - when does Flynn get his trainers?
Well he told me he will buy me some running tights next pay day in 2 weeks. So I think that's fair enough ๐
Well Flynny is almost 17 months old and does have some rather tiny trainers. My daughter Erica who is 5 in a few weeks, well she wants to come with me so I may take her for a short run in the park at the weekend. Just one loop. Would be cute to see how she does. She's much faster than me though ๐
