I took everything you all said out there with me...I was making markers, I was giving people & their dogs names...even the trees had names!!! But I kept going....and I feel so happy about it!!!! Thank you soooo much for all the encouragement & tips πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

Im so so pleased for you, I felt you wanted to progress but had a bit of a block...

Welcome to Week 4..its lovely 😎

You did really well to push through and use all the techniques and distractions suggested, and the thought of composing a victorious post helped you succeed.😊😊😊😊

I was running this morning too and it was lovely..so remember you are never running alone...

Keep going...and enjoy that feeling.βœ‹

Well done! Top job... week 3 will soon be a distant memory and you'll wonder how it ever felt hard... did the names get more colourful as the run went on :D

Ha ha...yes....especially the dog who jumped up at me when it had been through the beck!!! 😫

Go you, name those trees, houses, dogs, plants whatever it takes just do it. And we don't do disasters here, as we both now know, merely practice runs to build stamina, confidence KLM's run. Fabulous darling

Ha ha...everything had a name & I counted to ten I don't know how many times, but it all worked!!! Knowing that everyone who'd been reading my updates would genuinely be chuffed when they read it, that was my biggest motivator x

That is so good to hear. I'm still stuck in work. All explained in my own post this morning but I have a checklist to follow before I can hopefully get out at around 6:30pm. First on the list is to get through the day without falling asleep at my desk.

Well, that's just brilliant. Well done you for breaking the bad spell and cracking it. Whilst we all knew you could do it, I'm glad that you knew too. Still looking forward to seeing you on that podium.

I love, love, LOVE posts like this. I don't want to put anyone off but I thought that when I graduated suddenly every run would be so much easier. It's not. Last night I barely ran a mile before I had to stop - and reading posts like this is wonderful, motivating, inspiring and gives me a wonderful warm feeling! This running lark is alright really - you just have to put the bad runs behind you so that they don't affect your next run. You did that - and it's not easy - so well done!

You certainly succeeded on all fronts. I reckon everyone on the forum has their runs of great joy and runs of disappointment but we're all here to support through thick and thin.
