I've just done my 3rd run of week 9, very pleased and relieved since it took me four attempts to get past run 2! I was a bit tough in the middle so I think I'm just going to repeat it a couple of times and build up to 5k (I only managed 4) and work on my times after that. Thanks to everyone for all the useful tips and motivation, I don't know if I could have done it without this forum!
Hurray! Got there in the end!: I've just done my... - Couch to 5K
Hurray! Got there in the end!

Thanks! Can't wait to get my badge!
If not already done so request your badge. Look for the linked post on the home page on the right.
Thanks, yes, done, I'll keep checking
Look at that lovely badge! Congratulations!
It's so shiny!
You sound just like my daughter! Shiny is good. However in the case of the medal I got on a run yesterday - pink and sparkly is good!
Ooh yes indeed! How far did you have to run for that?
10k - not too bad as most of it was downhill.
Crikey, 10k though
I know - but don't forget that this time two years ago I had only completed 3 Parkruns!!!

Congratulations figmegππππ
Whoop whoop..Well doneβππ
Good plan to consolidate the 30 mins, and work towards your 5k goal...
Enjoy your celebrations...
Congratulations. Isnt a wonderful feeling to know you can run for 30 mins straight.

πBrilliant! Well done on graduating!ππ½ββοΈπ

Congratulations!!
Thanks! Nice kitty!
She is rather cute!! Currently curled up next to me
[her name is Cookie - her nickname (well, one of them!) is Cookie Monster - hence the username on here!]

Brilliant, congratulations graduate! πβοΈπ ππ»ββοΈ

Fantastic, I'm delighted for you. Congratulations on a great achievement. Enjoy your future runs.

Congratulations on graduating and getting your badge! Feels great, doesn't it?
I can't believe how much pleasure I felt just to see that badge saying "Graduate" next to my name. Childish, I know but hey!
My next task is to run all of 5k, perhaps a couple of practices this week and then Parkrun next Saturday, I think.
Well done! You look happy and proud as you should do! The journey starts hereππββοΈππ

Congratulations..very very well done..! That photo says it all.. simply wonderful!
Bask in the glory and when the party is over, take a bit of time to just run for pure joy...because you can! Then consolidate the 30 minute runs, but vary some other runs too, shorter or longer with no time pressure
So much to do now you are making the choices, to help those running legs which are just getting going, to develop even more

Keep that badge polished, fellow runner.
Parkrun.......... just do it............. you'll love it.
