Pleasing progress

Just finished week 6 and used a map app to figure out the distance I'm doing. Really pleased to discover Ive run about 4.5 k in the 25 minutes. If I can keep it up I'm on course to run 5k in 30 mins.

6 weeks ago I couldn't run the length of myself 😃😃😃😃

If you can maintain the pace for the extra five minutes you will definitely come in under 30mins for the 5k. Well on target.

When you say map app, do you mean a tracking app or just a screen with maps?

A GPS tracking app such as Runkeeper, Endomondo, Strava etc will show you precisely (?) how far you have run. The question mark is the device accuracy.

plotaroute.com. But like google maps. I set it to walking and used it to plot the route I run. It's all roads so seems pretty accurate. I haven't tried a gps app yet.
