Hello friends, I haven’t posted anything since week 3. Today I completed week 6, run 1. I’m still very, very slow and I’m not convinced I’ll be able to run 5k in 30 minutes any time soon, but I’m not concerned about that. Just hope to keep going Thanks to everyone for the info, advice and encouragement. To any newcomers- easy does it. If I can do it, you can!

of course running 5K in 30 minutes is not the aim of the program 😊

Haha, of course the aim is to get you to be able to run 3x 30 minutes 😊

Oh well, I’ll try to keep going. I would be really happy if I could achieve that.

Good for you! 👏👏👏

I'm not convinced I'll be able to run 5k in 30 minutes anytime soon either. 😆

Well done.

Only a small proportion of graduates from this forum who responded to a poll, managed 5k in 30 minutes by graduation healthunlocked.com/couchto5....

Graduation requirements are that you complete three thirty minute runs, regardless of distance.

Thank you! It’s really not a big deal for me. I’m just glad to be trying to get fitter and stronger. I’m very appreciative of all the support and encouragement on offer via the forum. Thanks to everyone.

You're doing great. Like most people I can't run 5k in 30 minutes but I have run 5k 4 times this week and most people can't do that! It may take me 37 minutes but I feel great and it all started with c25k. So keep it slow and steady, graduate and then keep running! I don't think I'll ever run 5k in 30 minutes but you may!!
