Trouser legging problem?

I know this is probably going to sound like the dumbest thing on the planet, but hey ho! I wear running leggings for my runs but keep finding that they're falling down, I'm not sure if they are too big or too small as when I put them on they feel fine?! Has anyone else had this problem? Can anyone suggest anything?

I wear aldis running stuff & running tights brilliant as they come to your waist & have a drawstring if needed i ran with another crop pair that was more lying on your hip & they did feel like creeping down a bit! I swear by aldis stuff!😊

I use Decathlon - they have drawstrings too. Generally I don't have this problem - once you've got running tights over my hips, they're not going anywhere!

I know that problem - spent my first run hitching my leggings up! Now I wear an old pair of Reebok elasticated waist shorts, big baggy nylon things. The fashion police may arrest me but they stay up. My problem is that I am pear shaped so I buy a size up to get over my hips then they are loose round the waist and slide down. When it gets chilly I might have to buy some drawstring waist leggings. They are building an Aldi near me, hope it opens in time...

I have used 'Ron hill tricksters' for years and they never disappoint. Last for years too as they don't stop fitting in times of fluctuations in weight.

I had that problem too. They sat on my hips and just fell down all the time. Got some others that come up higher with a thicker waist band and they stay up fine. Got these from asda in the sale.

I thought the ones that fell down would be okay it was only when I started to run that I realised they wouldn't be.

I only buy ones with drawstring waists. There are a lot of leggings around at the moment that are aimed at the 'fitness' market rather than for runners. To me the difference is that I need my leggings to have a pocket (for my inhaler and my door key) and a drawstring, to avoid the problem you've experienced! In the winter, with long leggings, they need a zip at the ankle as well. I'm getting a bit frustrated at the moment tbh because there are a lot of lovely leggings around at really good prices but with just elasticated waists and no pockets. I know that as soon as I set off they are going to start descending :O

Mine from sportsdirect started falling down and had to sew two triangle darts to the back waistband to take them in. They are very stretchy so that works fine. Found drawstring ones feel restricting when I get hot. Decathlon have a good choice of styles and bought some shorter ones that fit better than most to my pear shape.

i've got running leggings from Sports direct .. USA PRO got a size smaller than needed so they stay up & also a three quarter pair from Tesco no problem with either staying up x
