I've just finished Wk5 and after about half of all my runs a good half hour after finishing I get really nauseous and am a little sick? Is this normal, I've been putting it down to pushing my self further than I have before. Or do I need to get checked with my gp?

You don't need to push anything for this programme.

It could be indigestion/too. I have lactic acid ? We aren't doctors. See how it goes but slow things down, go steady.

Obvs see a doc if you are not happy 🙂

It settles down within half an hour, the hubby thinks it might be dehydration

Slow down as Missw says, really slow down.. weather here is humid, which I feel may not help..if it does happen again, maybe a quick check up?

You know you need to be well hydrated ! Drink plenty throughout the day, every day, and more so in this hot weather obviously. You're a runner now 😃💪🏃‍♀️✔️👍

I felt sick on my run last night but it was a milky coffee wot did it 😝😝😝😝😜. I thought I had allowed enough time. Lesson learned

Definitely try slowing down. Speed and distance can come later, it's just(!!!) running for a length of time for now.

Slow down or, dare I say it, WALK for a minute or two. I've been sick once and thought I was going to be sick another couple of times. For me it was running too fast and pushing myself too far. However, a word of caution, one time when I truly thought I was going to be sick it was because I'd drunk too much. It was swilling around in my stomach. It was a hot day and I was very conscious of the need to ensure I was well hydrated - but I drank way too much water!

I would probably try avoiding eating too close to running, make sure to stay hydrated and even slow down a little but if none of that works then go to the GP!
