Not jumping in muddy puddles!

Week 5 run 2 completed this morning in the pouring rain and probably the most fun I've had since C25K got it's hooks into me! Up until now heavy rock music has taken my mind off the job at hand but today dodging big puddles joined in!

I honestly didn't believe that I could have felt so comfortable at the end of 2 x 8 minute sessions of running. It almost felt like an intrusion when the first session finished and I had to do the interlude walk. I guess that's the trick and designed to instil a new level of determination into me for the third part of week 5.

I'll let you know if it worked sometime on Friday!

Well done - and if you want to ramp up the fun quotient even further, try running through the muddy puddles next time! Always get's me laughing out loud (and more than a little wet!💦)🙂

Perhaps I should watch my little daughter's training video, well I think that's what it is, called Peppa Pig!

Yes, you have to jump IN the puddles, not avoid them! My trainers are still drying up after last night's run!

Good advice! Sadly the forecast doesn't look like giving me another chance for a while!

You have to make it fun! But, never fear, this is England (I'm assuming you're in England), there'll be another opportunity before too long!
