Don't be too hard on yourself. If you managed 5k before, you can do it again. To be honest I still really struggle with it, especially if I am running alone. If I run with my friend it's no problem to keep going. Our nattering must drown out the gremlins 😂. I know that part of my problem is that I am not running enough at the mo but time of day, how much I have eaten, heat etc all play a part in how my runs go.
Just keep going, be kind to yourself and hopefully you'll get your mojo back. And when you do, if you find mine lurking with it please send it on its merry way back to me cos I need it! X
We all have bad runs sometime, leave it behind you , just pat yourself on the back for going out at all. Personally whenever I am a bit lost I play the C25K podcast for week 9 - always reminds me of how great it felt the first time I did it.- Good luck
