Wow we're has a year went? Sitting on my seatee nearly 18stone, I took the decision to go on a diet and to start c25k. Amazingly I loved it I continued on and added a few things in. Cycling and weights mostly. So in a year coming from a guy who hates walking never mind running I have ran at least 3 times a week (I was injured for 3 weeks) :the extra I've done has made up for that lol, done 2 duathlons and loved them., cycled 60 miles in one go. I have cut my eating. I was very fussy at the start but as i learnt I basically calorie counted to make sure if I was in defecit. It took a while but I started listening to my body. If I was tired it is OK not to train. Your body will thank you for it with doing somthing amazing down the line.
These forums are amazing and I've got to know so m any amazing people and I thank you all. This is just the start and I've a few things I will share that I would like to achieve, but that's for another date. I'm going to enjoy this week off and the new chellenges start soon...

That is fantastic. You are an inspiration! You look like a different person in that second picture and you have achieved so much it's awe inspiring. So great to read your story and here's to lots more good times!
You will struggle at times, no getting away from that. They are the times you just need to close your eyes and go. What's weird se them runs, they turn out to be the best ones. Keep it up, main thing is just keep going.
Outstanding Johhny ... You look like father and son on those pictures.. Well done fella!
