Wife completed her first 5k race

It was 90 degrees and crazy humid by the time the race was over, but she finished her first race! She didn't want me to run with her (she was worried I'd regret not getting an official best time), so when I finished my race, I went back and finished with her. She seemed to like that and she kicked hard at the end!

This was the Watermelon Crawl (yes race last month was the Watermelon Road Race... it's a south Georgia obsession.)

Can't imagine running in high heat with high humidity, congrats to your wife. She looks very happy!
