Graduation elation!

Today I completed week 9 run 3. I guess I am now a Couch to 5K graduate! Enormously chuffed with my progress and current fitness level. I started this challenge almost on a whim, after I'd had a good week of other exercise and felt the benefit. My thinking was: if I started that programme now, I would be finished just in time for my holiday. I am 46 and the only time I had ever run before was when my books were due back and the library was about to close! Feeling good, looking pretty good, and definitely planning to keep up the running habit. So amazed with how effective this programme is - it never felt unbearably hard, and, due to dumb luck or something else, I stayed injury-free and on schedule throughout.

Wow good for you! So great to here of everyone's successes on here. I'm a couple of weeks behind you. Also hoping to complete before my holidays. Even starting to consider packing my running shoes. Never thought I could get this far. Good luck with your future running.

Yes definitely pack your shoes! Check out the walkjogrun site which suggests good runs in the area. We are off down to Yorkshire and looking forward to some runs there.

Brilliant news - well done! I'm a couple of weeks behind you (and currently on the injury couch sadly) but like you I'm astonished at how effective and relative do-able the programme is - love your comment about running to the library!

Congratulations, graduate!

Excellent news, well done - another c25k success! So, once you have finished celebrating, how do you plan to keep it up (I'm off to a park run shortly, hint hint 😊).

Yeah we plan to do some parkruns locally, loking forward to it.

Being as it's Wimbledon week, thought we could break out the Pimms *other drinks are available* to celebrate your graduation. Well done!

Why would I have another drink if I'm being offered a Pimms during Wilmbledon week? That would just be rude, like refusing strawberries...!
