Well I did week 4 Run 1 today. I was really dreading this week going up to 5 mins, when I look back and I used to struggle with 60 seconds.
BUT.... I did it, and I didn't stop. I felt like I could and I wanted to but I kept pushing forward. If anyone has ever done Insanity with Sean T, I kept saying to myself in the last couple of mins 'Dig a Little Deeper...Dig a Little Deeper...You CAN do it!!'
I did the first 3 minutes and I thought... that was easy... When I look back to week 1, 60 seconds was a struggle.
Feeling tired but also so proud and excited/confident that I can do this...
I actually find it a lot easier doing less runs for longer than more shorter runs, its all in the mind, as you do the first couple of short ones and think OMG I still have another 4 to go but after the first 5 minutes you think I only have 1 more 5 minute run and I'm done.

Odd I am liking the gap & repeat idea because on the 2nd, 3rd run, I think "you have just done that, now just do it again". Well it is good that we are all different. I am trying to take my own advice and not looking ahead but I am aware of the format of my next run (W5R3).
Trust in the program. I was the same dreading it but I actually loved it. The program does prepare you for the longer runs. I have just finished wk7 today and if I can do it anyone can. Good luck !
Well done! You're about half way to finishing. That must feel. very very good. I still hv a modicum of dread before every run (am just one run off graduation) - but it's proved to be such a sane steady programme that dread probably not necessary- enjoy the journey!
