Had one of those shall I stay in bed moments this morning(it was 4:20) but had planned on doing 4 runs this week and as this would be the third must really get on with it so gear on and out the door at 4:40 started the 5 minute warm up and got blinded by the sun more or less straight away 5 minutes up started Garmin and we are off I seem to have moved from a shuffle style to a longer stride anyway 1st k done 7 minutes 47 seconds felt quite comfortable so decided to see if I could maintain a pace around that sort of time mixed up the route a bit to avoid groundhog day steady up the incline and round the turn down on to the main village road still maintaining a steady pace down past the brook and up to the village hall not long to go now stopped Garmin at 5.20 k and after downloading data managed 5k in 38 minutes 24 seconds. Had not intentionally gone for a faster time but if it comes not going to complain. Definitely going for a slow one on Saturday but trying a new route as well so could very easily get lost if I can't find the footpaths but we shall see.

Yay, those PBs coming thick and fast now. Mind you I'm even more impressed with your 'up & out' routine.. Ten minutes from bed to bathroom would be a PB for me! Great going MoK😊

I have to up and out because once I am awake I have to get up plus 3 individuals are of the opinion that if they are awake it must be feeding time even though I make them wait till I come back in.

I have NEVER had a "should I stay in bed?" moment at 420 in the morning 😏

Well done on the PB
