I still haven't got my head round how ones days running can be so different to another!
W7R1 I managed the 25 minutes - just !
W7R2 I felt I had it mastered. Not only did I run the 25 minutes, I walked 5 minutes and then ran a further 15
4 days later and I attempt W7R3 today and after 15 minutes got a crippling stitch. I carried on to 21 minutes and then had to walk for a couple of mins before running a further 2 minutes. The stitch didn't even go on the 5 minute cool down. Today is the first run I haven't enjoyed but drawing on the positive, I did it (almost!!)
Bring on week 8 on Saturday........

Well done for getting this far. May I first suggest you just stick to the run times on the programme? Its good you felt like running and extra 15 minutes, but the potential for injury from this is high. If you have extra energy, burn it off with a lower impact activity, like swimming or cycling.
As for the stitch, well there are many theories on both causes and remedies. Maybe try a few things to see what works for you.
As the progamme states: You will have good runs and bad runs. Accept it and don’t spend too much time analysing the how and why. Even a bad run is good for you.
Well done...but, ( there is always a but, isn't there) slow and steady and don't add in any extra bits...Take each run as it comes... the slow and steady building up structure of the programme does work !
