I've just done W9 R1 ofvthe programme, but I've not lost a single lb. I've not dieted as such, but I've cut down and feel really disappointed that I've not lost anything.
Not lost any weight π’: I've just done W9 R... - Couch to 5K
Not lost any weight π’
I graduated last week and didn't lose anything either π but I still feel fitter and healthier even so. π
I bet even though you have not lost any weight that your body will have changed some. Your after getting so much fitter. I would not be too worried yet. Get through the last 2 runs and bask in the success for a couple of days. That is a huge achievement. Well done on your amazing success so far.
I just qualified last week. I have about 18 pounds to loose and am being a little more mindful this week about what I'm eating. I want to run a 5K Parkrun confidently in under 30 mins by the end of August. I now want to loose that extra stone and a half for speed. I know if I burn off more than I consume it will happen. I'm not going to diet, I'm just going to watch what I eat.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, your fitness level will be so much better than before!
I have found that with losing weight it is completely dependant on what kind of foods you eat, rather than the amount.
I have found it so hard to cut down on sugar and fat, I have such a sweet tooth, but it is the only thing that seems to shift the weight!
I found that logging what I ate on My Fitness Pal really helped me, even if you don't cut back just logging it makes you way more aware of what you eat in a day. Maybe you could try something similar?

Oh dear...but, this is not a weight loss programme and may help with weight loss or not! I actually put weight on... good for me though
Have you peeked at Weight Loss forum... linked with this...many of our friends on here are on there too!

Don't be down... you will be fitter and more toned and tight... combine it with a healthy eating regime and keep on to Graduation and beyond and who knows
Well done , w9 is tough βοΈ You should be patting yourself on the back π
I realise it's hard when you don't lose weight ( I didn't either) but the other benefits are important π
Did you do measurements before and after? I'd bet you've lost inches.
Even if you haven't you've done untold good to your innardsπ They will thank you for itβ€οΈ
Unfortunately c25k isn't a weight loss plan ( if onlyπ) if you are to lose weight it has to be a combination of diet and exercise.
Good luck ππΆ
You may not have lost pounds but I bet you have lost inches and look and feel so much better and healthier x
I'm at exactly the same point as you (W9 R2 on Fri). Weighed myself this morning and it's the first time I've lost any weight since I started this programme. Was previously losing 1 1/2 lbs every week on the 5:2 diet which works well for me. HOWEVER, despite no weight change I've dropped a dress size and can fit clothes that were too tight last September! While my weight has been static I've definitely got a lot more toned and, actually, I'd rather be fitter and slimmer so it's all good ππΌ. Try not to focus on your weight. I think that we're building running muscles and, in time, weight loss may come but it's not as important as being fit!
And we'll done abpnd congratulations in advance because soon you will have graduated! πππ
I didn't start to lose weight til week 7. Got really downhearted. I graduated 3 weeks ago and run 3x 5 ks each week (not quickly!) Now lost 2 1/2 stone and still going. Stick with it - it will come!! I'm not dieting, just not being silly. Believe me, my shape is better and my life feels better. A long way to go.. You can do this, I never thought I could- but I did. You can too!!!
Your building muscle mass and muscle is heavier than fat so don't worry. You are losing but just gaining muscle at the same time
You won't gain muscle doing C25k π
Losing weight is tricky at times but it's like anything else, you get out what you put in. If you stick at it your work will pay off π
