All those who said it could be done, trust the programme, you can do it... you were right. Week 5 run 3 had been looming in my head for the last two weeks and I was sure I was going to be the failure. The one who couldn't do it. The one who gave up. And I had plenty of excuses: my routine if 10.00 at the gym was thrown out due to my children's schedules. I turned up at 5:45 to discover the gym closes at 6:00pm on a Saturday so I had to drive to the sister gym, an unknown quantity, to complete the run. It would have been so easy to give up, to say "oh well, not my fault". But I drove to the unknown gym and I did it. 20 mins of running non-stop. Unbelievable! And it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. In fact, nowhere near as difficult as I thought it would be.
I AM INVINCIBLE!!! Well, perhaps not, but I feel pretty awesome!
