Nursery Rhyme for This Morning's Run

As I ran this morning this popped into my head ( sung to the tune of Mary, Mary Quite Contrary. And although many of you know me as Razouski, my name in the real world is Gill - short for Gillian)

Gilly, Gilly, run so hilly,

How does the woodland grow?

With bramble spikes and nettles high,

And beads of sweat all in a row.

It made me smile as I managed 6km in the emerging heat first thing this morning.

Very good. I go round parkrun singing 10 marshals left to myself instead of 10 in a bed, and they all give up one by one til just me is left!!
