My local parkrun wasn't on today because of the Gung Ho obstacle course on Southampton Common so my two running pals and I went over to the newish Whiteley parkrun. It was blazing hot but a nice flat course. On a cool day I could see myself getting a PB but not today. Toooooo hot! Plus I am taking part in a dancing display tonight so didn't want to push myself in case of injury. Nevertheless, it was fun and the atmosphere was very friendly and supportive.
