Happy New Year everyone! Double Parkrun done today despite late night (a modest 1.30am bedtime) and early start thanks to the granddaughters 7.00am 'alarm'. They just gotta have their breakfast.
Grovelands at 9 was a first and hard but celebrated a friend's 50th Parkrun and another runner's 100th. Hurrah! Completed a hilly course in 25:12 (my slowest for ages) and placing 40/90. Hard work but I know the answer re: the hills.
Then back in the car, dropped home briefly then down to Oak Hill and a fast, fast run of 23:23. New PB by 38 seconds! So pleased with myself and a place of 34/107 was the icing on the cake. Where next? Thanks for reading and keep on running!

Wow, well done indeed! Those are great times; back-to-back Parkrunning is a brilliant way to start off the new year! No chance of that here - mine was cancelled due to ice!
A run is definitely a run. Thanks Miss Wobble. Funny thing is that my Garmin ran out of juice 500m from finish but, did that matter? I was just running and pushing on and got there in the end. Happy New Year.
