After having bad knee pain and resting for over a week, thought I would have trouble with this mornings run. However it went well, felt a slight niggle in my knee but nothing compared to what it was. Took people's advice from a previous post which was great, thanks
Running wise did feel harder after what felt like such a long break. Slow and steady and I managed the 28 mins.
Can't wait to do the final week!

I am in the same boat as you. I finished week 7 last weekend and then developed a cold, lost my voice and pulled a muscle in my lower back. It hurt to cough. I missed not running and so last Thursday I went out for my first 28 minute run of week 8. It was the wrong thing to do. I was shattered after the run and my legs ached for 4 days afterwards. So I decided to take a rest. Feeling good today. Looking forward to doing week 8 run 2 this evening.
Well done Charlottetrip sounds a bit like what happened to me. I think the first time we sustain an injury or illness that interrupts our running it is a nervy time. Having never been in this position before we just don't know what the break will do to our fitness levels.
I am happy to say, like you, I was able to pick up right where I left off.
