I'm feeling a bit smug as I completed the Race for Life at Stanborough Lakes yesterday - my first 5k since I got a knee injury mid-March. I wasn't sure I would run it all (planned to walk up the hills as suggested by my physio) but you know what? It just happened and it was fine and I'm so pleased I can still do it (albeit rather slowly - took me just under 39 mins but what the hey). Muscles are a bit sore today though!
