Not posted my progress on here so far, but week 5 feels like a big step up. Run 1 completed this morning. Not too bad, but then only 5 minute runs so nothing I've not done before. Tried to imagine at the end of each run doing another 3 minutes. End of run 1, not sure about 3 minutes but could have gone on. End of run 2, not so sure. The words only 60 seconds left have never sounded so good. End of run 3, well, have you ever seen a gasping beetroot run for 3 minutes? But I did run for 5 minutes three times, except maybe the top few steps of the steps up to the railway bridge. New running shoes super comfy. Fingers crossed for run 2.

  • I am starting week 8 next week and I have felt that I only just managed every single run. The plan works and the progress you make is amazing. Go for it cos you can do it!
