Actually I think the aches are more from the evening boxercise class I did after the run in the morning since my arms and stomach ache more than my legs! This is the first time since starting that I'm glad to have a rest day.

Well done you. No pain no gain... Unless you break your leg. Then it's just pain.
Hope so! I cant help wondering if skipping was once used to torture people. Gimme running any day 😊
I found that there are times when I am pushing myself with running, I can't do anything but rest on non run days and other times when energy levels are high. I still blame skipping for sore calves about 6 months ago so the skipping rope was put away for another time LOL
I know what you mean. No idea what possessed me last night but I felt good so went for it. I think I'll go on a non run day next time or try a class that doesnt use ropes!
Generally speaking, I think exercise that used muscles not used for running is best so they can rest - cycling, walking, swimming maybe. I like step aerobics too, only at home and a basic level though. Otherwise when I was doing C25K, lying in bed with the electric blanket on or a hot bath (can't stand the thought of icing my delicate legs)! Lol
