Soo I'm on week 4 been sticking to a run every 3 days (due to work/child comittments can't do every other day) am eating a little healthier but I find I'm that hungry after a run I hit the carbs. But I've not lost anything at all in weight! Is this normal!

Well, looking at it in a positive light: despite the fact that you are eating more carbs than usual you haven't put on weight. That's got to be a plus.

If losing weight is your goal, do not increase your calorie intake, and cut the carbs.

That is very true. I'm trying to a) lose weight and b) get fitter but I do feel sooo much better like walking up the stairs etc

Cutting down on carbs is normally the answer

I eat my carbs! 🙂

Carbs,I feel, are unfairly demonised. I blame body builders who want nothing in life dept to have shiny well defined muscles, and who don't do any exercise much except admire themselves in the gym mirror 😃

Carbs come in many forms! It's not just polished white rice and pasta

Get to know your carbs! Green leafy veg for example are carbs too! Spuds, sweet potatoes yum my 😃 We get energy from the food we eat, and to ensure we are satisfied we have to eat th full complement of healthy foods to fuel our exercise 🍏🍌🍒🍅🌶🥔🍆🍑🍉🍎🍐🍇🍍🥒🍠🥓🍐🍊🍓🥝🥕🍋🍈🥑🌽🥜🥗🌮🥙🍗🍖🥚🍯🧀

It is obvious though that you won't lose weight if you consume more calories than you burn off

It's early days in your running though to expect to see much difference, especially if you are eating extra while doing the programme, which you shouldn't be. If you must then eat a good old banana. I eat a nana most days. If you are not eating proper porridge oats then start now 😀 Running fuel 🏃‍♀️✔️
