I have got a right sweat on and my calves know they have done some work, but that's another week done and only 3 to go.

Time for a shower I think 😁

well done, 30 minutes seems realistic now, W6 a strange week though with run/walk for first 2 runs.

Burrows79 profile image
Burrows79Graduate in reply to Frankel

Thanks, it does seem a bit strange that you go from 20 minutes straight to intervals again, but the plan obviously works as I couldn't run for the bus before I started.

How did you find W6?

Frankel profile image

Found W6 ok despite the heat, i did take it slow on the final 25 min run. I believe in the plan as like you i couldn't run at all and now i'm up to 25mins!

Good luck on next week.

I think I am scared of this run

Burrows79 profile image
Burrows79Graduate in reply to KimLoulou

There's nothing at all to be scared of, the plans been training you for this and you've got it.

I will admit to the last couple of minutes being difficult, not physically but mentally, but it's there and it's yours for the taking.

Go out there and smash it!

Well done, yup that's it your now a runner, trust the plan , join a group and keep calm and carry on πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

I'm not too keen on joining a group, I like solo runs where I'm left alone with my thoughts

I made it back. πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ’πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜€πŸ’πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜€πŸ’πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€. Not exactly speedy, in fact I covered less distance than on Wednesday when-only 16 mins running and more walking. But I did it, 20 minutes ! probably the first time in my entire life, I certainly can't remember any teacher inspiring me to keep going like Laura does.

I'm with you on running in groups, not for me, never will be.

Burrows79Graduate in reply to Bonkersbrit

Well done πŸ‘πŸ‘. I managed to cover slightly more distance but I ran at the same pace so I think I held back a little too much on R2.

I'm looming forward to W6 now but going back to intervals may feel strange, we do only have 3 weeks left though and we WILL do this, I for one am hoping to live a healthier, happier life and it's all thanks to C25K.

See you at the finish line

I know what you mean about a group, but I can only say that I wish I had started running with a buddy a long time ago, I found loismelia on here and have started running with her and it's so much more fun. Also the GRL and Parkrun are such an uplifting experience. Whatever you do remember that everyone of all abilities is on your side and there to help, not just those on here πŸ˜€
