Ooh week 7 is where it starts to get serious and you actually feel like a runner π keep up the good work and you'll be graduating before you know it.
Well done - that must feel so good. Any high points / low points on the journey (for one still toddling?). All the very best to you for whatever comes next!ππππ
It really does, thank you. Highest point has got to be completing that 20 minute run on week 5. It seems such a big jump from 8 minutes but was the best feeling when it was done. To be honest, I found week 6 awful! After completing the 20 minutes, it just seemed a massive effort!! I think completing that dreaded 20 mins lulls you into a false sense of security almost and going back to intervals after that was just such a massive effort! - So, my advice would be to not expect it to be easy because its far from it but its soooo worth it to complete the program and be able to run for 30 minutes or longer! Considering most of us were gasping for breath after a minute when we first started, it really is fantastic Good luck for the rest of your journey x
That is a truly marvellous achievement πvery well done π
Bravo! And yippeee indeed!! You have every right to be grinning for a good while yet. I am so deeply impressed by your 5.25k in 36 mins that I feel you need an extra gold star in addition to your Graduate badge. Best news is, it only gets better from here on in!
Haha thank you so much! I don't know where that speed came from because i'd been no where near previously!! I'm looking forward to what my future running will bring
Aww distance doesn't matter, its all about that 30 minutes and distance and speed will come. I didn't expect that to happen at all but seemed to get a second wind! You'll be there before you know it x
Well done. I have week 5, run 3 tomorrow and won't lie if I say I'm a bit nervous about it. It seems like such a big jump from 8 mins to 20 mins. I will give it my all
Aww thats great Cat! Week 5 run 3 definitely worried me at the time but it was actually surprising good! Its this run that makes you think 'Yeah, I can do this!' Its such a fantastic feeling when that run is complete. Just take it slowly and don't panic - you can do it Let me know how it goes x
