Another attempt today, and although I didn't make it, I did add a couple of minutes in comparison with the last try - 16 mins this time. I figure that the important part is that I keep enjoying running and that eventually I will get to the end. I'll just add another couple of minutes on Wednesday and see where that will get me!
W6R3 repeat #2: Another attempt today, and... - Couch to 5K
W6R3 repeat #2
Week six is the hardest, if it's any consolation 🙂
Keep plugging away, slow but sure, and you'll do it. It is best to take your time as you'll do it without getting hurt, which is the main thing
It will come together. Just persevere 😃
You're right :). I'm not actually demotivated, I'm pretty proud of getting out there again and giving it another go! And I figured that (1) I'm in this for the long haul, so in the end this programme is only going to be a very small portion of my running life and therefore what does a couple of repeats matter, and (2) every day that I get out there is one day less of not getting off the couch, no matter how many minutes I achieve!
It's definitely the carrying on that's important and not how well a particular run goes. Well done for plugging on at it.
Keep going Res.. the key thing is to not give up and you are excelling at that. You can do it and you will when it is your time too!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Some runs are just kerapp. As Laura says, often for no rhyme or reason. For every bad run ... 😃👍
Everything you've said is completely true. I am full of admiration for you. You are a total winner 🏆
You are doing great, keep going you are improving every run!
xxxxx your doing great resolution xx keep plugging at it you will get there x
My head rules my body. While I know that I am capable of anything I put my mind to, I really have to make sure my mind doesn't have the upper hand and try get out of it!
When I moved from 25 minutes to 28 minutes, I ran the extra three minutes first, then did the 25 minutes which I knew I could do.
Not sure it will help but maybe get those extra 5 minutes done then do the 20 minutes that you know you can do.
I'm cheering you on!
