Welcome and welll done for getting started - I bet Bob is pleased too! This is such a great programme and a really supportive forum with plenty of over 50's (I'm 52) at different stages of the running journey! Good luck!🙂

Never too late... welcome! You are a mere youngster compared with some of us... I started this t 65... now I am still running three times a week at 67!!! :)

Check out Maddee_6333 's posts.. she does Canicross.. superbly!!!!

Loads of great info there :)

Take it steady and slow and keep posting your runs for support and encouragement :) If you follow the C25K programme, you should not need to repeat runs.... just go steadily on :)

Brilliant! No, never too late - several of us started at 57 and have never looked back 😄

My husband used to run with our terrier, and although he was fast in fits and starts, he couldn't run endless miles like a collie or a dalmation etc, so just take care both of you. Not too much!

It should be great fun for both of you as long as you take it steady and follow the programme.

Good luck

Hello and welcome! I have just restarted week 1 as I had to strop before, because I was ill and had knee problems. I too run with my dog and I am 58. I am doing my third run of week 1 tomorrow. I will follow your progress with interest! 🙂
