I did my first run about 4 weeks ago, after not doing any physical activity for 30 years. I managed the first 3 weeks reasonably ok but I have struggled this 4th week.I somehow managed to run the 2nd run of 4th week today.I hope to finish the C25K by end of June as I have booked myself for a parkrun.

Keep going, you can do it - it's the people like you who remind me I can do it too! We're all going to face our struggles, and will need to summon up the motivation to push ourselves that little bit further. I am a non-exercise starter too, feling proud of finishing W1R3. I'm wary of how different Week 2 will be!!

if you have done first week successfully ,then you can do it.Just follow the App and avoid temptation to do any more than needed.I did push a bit after 3 weeks and had to stop for 5 days before resuming.

Keep it steady and slow and you will be just fine... targets are great things to have, but get there gently! :) Well done !

Thanks for the advice.I know I have to keep it steady and slow as I have already hurt myself last week by pushing a bit more than I should have.

I managed to do 2nd run of week 5 successfully .I was surprised that I could run for 8 minutes continuously which I never thought I would manage.I am pleased with my progress so far despite some breaks.

I managed to do my week 6 run 3 today successfully .I never imagined I could run this long and I did surprise myself to manage 30minutes in fact.I felt comfortable doing it and I hope to repeat this in 2days again.

I did my week 7 run1 yesterday successfully and again managed to do 30mins of running instead of 25mins.I felt great after that.I would want to keep running at least 3 times a week hopefully, for the rest of my life.

I did my week 7 run 3 and managed a full 32 minutes and covered 4.2kms.I was very pleased with myself after managing only 1min about 7 weeks ago on 25th April.I hope I can continue with this and manage a full 5k.
