Feel great and want more

I completed week 1. Second run was hard. But as l have been told by many of you that it depends on many factors. I can only run after work as l leave home early and have hectic long journeys back home. Third run was enjoyable. I had a peak at next week run and l am apprehensive.

Good news. I managed to convince another reluctant novice to join the program. That's my hubby. So l will have some company now.

Don't peek :)

Well done you.... and for persuading hubby too :) Just follow the programme, take your rest days and mainly, steady and slow... :)

Running after work, can be the perfect antidote to a long hard day, relaxing into the run and letting all the stresses and strains disappear. Running is about so much more than just running :)

Don't be tempted to push too hard, some folk have tried this in the past and it usually ends badly... C25K is intended as a structured, steady build up to the thirty minute runs...and that is why you will find that you can do each week, so, no need to be apprehensive :)

If you can do other exercise on your rest days, it does help too.. the NHS strength and flex is one set of exercises many of us used alongside C25K. Walking, yoga or swimming... wonderful too.

Keep posting and good luck with your next runs :)

Will definitely check the website and feedback. Walking helps me to destress. I want to run so that l don't get bored of walking. Hence l can alternate them. Thank you👍

Despite initially saying,"You won't get me running, I always hated running." my other half saw the change in me, completed C25K and is as committed to running being part of her life as I am. We don't often run together, but it is great to have a shared interest and we do parkrun together.

Congratulations, your lives will be richer for this.

That's great news and now you've got a running partner. Onwards and Upwards let's keep in touch - next run Sunday for me.

I am trying to have weekend off from running as we enjoy countryside walking. Hence 2nd week of run starts Monday 👍

If your OH falls by the wayside though don't be put off. Keep going. Running alone is fine. Better in fact for the purposes of the programme 😃🏃‍♀️

I am a lot stronger than him. I will not fall behind because of him. If l fall it might be the program 😩 But l have high endurance
