Doing better than I thought I could...

Decided to do it to get healthier for my kids, as I found out I had high blood pressure.

Have surprised all of my family by keeping going (even in the sleety rain last week) and have now completed week 5.

To anyone thinking of starting but not sure you can do it. YES YOU CAN.

Very well done... keep it slow and steady... as for the sleety rain...we learn to embrace the weather.. and the hills...!

Keep going, Dan. You are setting a great example to your kids and transforming your fitness at the same time. The long term benefits are so worthwhile.

Keep going Dan, to Graduation and beyond. As a fit dad you will inspire your children to be fit as well and you can all be healthy and active together. Our little, jog group has parents jogging with their children now. It's lovely to see. Parkrun is great for that 😊

You will quickly acclimatise to running in bad weather. It's amazing how it happens. Brisk warm_ups recommended ☺ I warm up in the house first before hitting the street for the brisk walk
