Lucky enough to live close to Greenwich Park and have completed second run in 2 days. So far so good. Great to run around the floor garden.

Well done! A great start.

Dont forget the programme requires you to run a day, rest a day. Consecutive -day runs are not part of the plan, your muscles etc need to repair following each run.

Slow and steady guards against injury.

I know but I am out tomorrow so wouldn't be able to go out until Friday so thought it best to go today. Didn't realise it would hurt.

Best to take an extra rest day, particulary at such a very very early stage.

Although the programme states 9 weeks, many take longer than that either due to extra rest days needed or sometimes repeating what turns out to be '.a practice run' .

Better slow and steady than being unable to run at all due to injury.

Good luck with your third run, you are doing great!
