I have completely mistimed this!

I run every Monday, Wednesday and Friday evening after work and take a 2 day break over the weekend. I like to be regimented about these things. It must be an OCD thing! πŸ™‚ Anyway, I went out this evening and did my Week 8 Run 1 (it was hard work!). So by my reckoning that means my graduation run will be on Christmas day! Well that's not going to happen! 🀣 I will just have to go out Boxing day or the day after!

Congratulations on almost completing C25K, when I was doing C25K my running days were also Monday, Wednesday but Saturday not Friday, certainly you don't need to run on Christmas Day or Boxing Day, you can run your graduation run on the 27th December which is a Sunday, which day you choose I wish you good luck for your graduation run πŸƒπŸΎ.

I used to do the same, very regimented. Now I look ahead at weather, work and daylight hours. Flexibility is a good thing. Don't stress if you take an extra few days. Good luck x

Just go out when you can. No pressure! Graduating will still feel wonderful!

Thanks for the responses. I was only joking. I just thought it was funny that I had managed to time it so the graduation run would have fallen on Christmas day. Being a creature of habit I like to follow the routine. I will just have to go against my instincts on this occasion! 🀣🀣🀣

I am with you IannodaTruffe. I plan to go for a run on Christmas Day and as is my want will be about 6:30am. I am a Christmas grinch and will cherish my alone time run before facing the onslaught of traditions I don’t really understand

I plan to do a Christmas morning (not) parkrun! Nothing better than staying Christmas Day with a run πŸƒπŸ½β€β™€οΈ πŸŽ„

How’s fantastic it would be to graduate on Xmas day!

An extra day off during these longer runs might just be the best Boxing Day treat for your legs. Weather here on today and Wednesday forecast is poor so I'm shifting my runs one day. I don't mind the rain. If it was forecast for the whole week then I'd go out, but if it is nicer the next day then that's what I'll do. I know what you mean though, as new runners we don't want to get out of this healthy habit! Look forward to hearing of your progress.

I am in South London near Surrey borders. We are just going in to tier 3 so Christmas will be less busy than originally intended. Maybe that Christmas day run wont be out of the question!

I always run on Christmas day! Its my present to myselfπŸ‘πŸ˜€πŸ‘

We usually have parkrun on Xmas day. I’ll miss it this year but I’ll still run πŸƒπŸ½β€β™€οΈ

This year of all years, I will be thanking my lucky stars that I CAN run πŸ‘

I was just like you, run on mon/wed/fri, then 2 days rest, mix it up a bit more now, my son says he'll cook the xmas dinner, so looking forward to a xmas morning run, and like others have said, to graduate on xmas day, would be great!!! ☺
