Feeling better about my fitness!
Hi, I'm new to this site, I'm 54 , 55 in Oct this year, my time on Mon just gone, for 5k was 30 mins 55 secs. Year b4 last I did it in under 29, I had to stop running for a bit,so I'm trying to build up my fitness again.
That's a great time, especially after a break! Well done! I'll be 58 in October, also restarting after a break but a lot slower than that!
Slow is very , very good... as you will find out, the mantra on this C25K programme is slow and steady Keep posting
Thanks, I will!
Amazing time. I'll be 55 in a couple of weeks and my best so far is 35:11. You're an inspiration!
Hi, lavender1962, thankyou that's a lovely comment! I ve had a week off so I've been running more, just got it down to 30.16, though I was hoping for under 30! I feel I need to aim for something to push myself and give myself a target. Hope your running's going well.
Welcome to this great place
Did you follow the C25K programme when you were running Are you, going to use a new programme to build fitness up again this time...?

It will be great for folk who have graduated to see what programme/plan you are using to take yourself forward on your running journey ..thanks for sharing
