Kinda unrelated but I cycled to the garage to pick up my car. It's been well over a year since I last got on my bike... I found it easier and I was faster than previous attempts. It's so suprising that running is still keeping me fit in other areas! I'm so amazed! Has anyone else found things easier in other areas of life?

Yes, definitely. I ride about once a week and I now find the endless trotting the instructor makes us do pretty much effortless - and I've only just started W7.
I haven't got on my bike yet, but I shall be interested to see how it feels to ride up the nearest hill!
Yes, I cycle regularly and do 20 plus miles with a mate on a Sunday. It was a nice surprise to me that from about week 7 of c25k that I'd find myself pulling away from him on the hills but seemingly not trying any harder! That I guess was one of the moments I realised that this running plan was making a real difference to me.
It's brill I noticed with walking. & cycling how much fitter I felt going up hills .
It does seem to make a difference as I have also discovered. It seems to improve other areas of life as well with the self esteem gained from succeeding at the programme give a confidence boost to try other things at succeed at those also. Good luck with your new found fitness levels and best wishes.
