So, I reluctantly ditched the podcasts tonight and decided to tackle my next 5k. Plugged in my own music and set off.
I kept to a slow pace, as it was surprisingly warm and my hay fever was being a pain, and jogged the full distance. It took me 55 minutes and I really enjoyed myself.
Got my mojo back. ππ

I was singing along loudly to Wham Rap the other week and belted out "hey jerk you work! " just as a rather muscular cyclist went past. He looked back and then got off his bike and waited for me. Rather nervously to say the least, I waved, smiled and apologised and got away with it. Phew!
Well done! I feel just the same. Forget the time, do the run. Brilliant. Own music is so much better isn't it? That is what I liked about Laura's runs though, how you could use your own.
