So that's that done then. I was nervous but don't know why!? I found myself thinking.. 'pace yourself you have another 3 minute run remember'... a thought I wouldn't ever have believed I would have had 😜 anyway I did make an error in forgetting about the five minute cool down as I finished on a three minute walk... hope that's not going to have a huge impact! ... felt a little bit like a runner this morning 😱

You felt like a runner, because you were running:) Well done!

The walk down.. well, what's two minutes between friends...no, it won't impact at this stage :)

The cool down, as you know, is there to help you wind down slowly and for your heart rate to return naturally to its normal rate:) I know I was always glad of it when the runs got longer, and I really enjoy that slow walk home after a long run, even now :)

Well done again, keep posting and roll run 2 ? :)

I get excited for the next run but hate the day gap! Actually feel it hinders motivation at times 😳

Brilliant!

Stay excited ...but, make no mistake, those rest days, your 'day gap' are essential. Your body need the recovery time and there is so much other exercise to choose from on your rest days! Our most experienced runners here, never, break the one day between, rule.. and they should know.:)

So easy to damage ourselves and end up on the IC...

Swim, cycle, walk, do yoga, core strength exercises.... loads of choice :)

But, it is a temptation, especially when the day looks so inviting and you feel great... just don't do it :)
