i have noticed lots of different things while ive been following the progrm , im a 46 yr old woman and im 16stone , obviously the running is not easy but im enjoying the challenge , ive been doing it on a treadmill for various reasons am doing w4r3 tommorrow but am off on my hols so will be repeating the week outdoors next week in the countryside , i have noticed i really look forward to the runs , i get very emotional during and after them and my whole attitude towards food seems to have changed i enjoy healthier stuff now and even took a packed meal to MIL last night incase they were sending out for chippy , im enjoying the changes that are occuring and hope i will be keeping them , i will tickle off now cos i do ramble on posts , i also read new posts every morning i find it motivates me and makes me want to succeed , happy running one and all no matter what stage you are at XX

Well done so far! On the running and the lifestyle changes. More success -> more self-esteem -> more motivation -> more success ... it's a virtuous circle.

Let us know how you find the outdoor running. Personally, I prefer it (once I got over the worry that everyone would stare at me).

This is not a ramble... :) ( read some of mine if you have an hour or so :)) !

It is a great post and so motivational... healthy eating and exercise..the perfect combination:)

Just the right time of the year too, with all the green stuff coming through... :)

Emotional runs are fine.. I sometimes, laugh out loud, cry, whoop and jump around like a loopy thing, as the mood takes me... I have scared quite a few, pheasants, rabbits, birds and sheep on my travels!

You will love being outside in the big wide world! Enjoy x

I was 46 when I started C25k. Its a good age to reinvent yourself and become the sexiest you ever.
