Getting there!

I can't believe how much my stamina has increased! Started week 4 today. 4 weeks ago I felt like a 60 second run would finish me off - now I can run for 5 minutes and, yes it's not easy, but it's not killing me either! Honestly, this is the best thing I've ever done. My mental health and happiness is improving, and I'm getting a bit emotional writing this lol, I'll go now... x

Yeay!

You go girl... and there is nothing wrong with getting emotional:)

I run, as many of us do, for so many reasons..and being happy...and losing the stresses and strains of life... are just a few of the reasons :)

Keep on posting and take it slow and steady !

Remember that well known quote.. " That which does not kill us, makes us stronger"...

... and in the case of C25K, happier and fitter and loving life :)

Nothing to worry about...if you just carry on, slow and steady and just put one foot in front of the other :)

Minxygirl stories like yours are truly inspirational. I am repeating week 1, as I didn't quite manage all the run segments. So did W1R1 again yesterday and plan to do W1R2 again tomorrow. I am not really seeing much increased stamina, but feel good after the run (walk).

Keep it up, you know it's doing you good. Accept your emotions, we all have them. :( :) :D ;)

I also did Week 4, Run 1 today and yes - it is challenging - but I did it!! I surprised myself TBH and found the last run particularly difficult, but the sense of achievement and pride I felt when it was complete made the pain worth it. Actually quite looking forward to Wednesday's run ... 😳

I am too! It's like we're doing it together hehe. I don't even take a puff on my inhaler before I go now :)
