Well here I am 64 years old having completed the program for the second time. The last time was 5 years ago, in between there was broken leg 2 years with gall bladder problems then op. While having pre op they discovered a heart anomaly with heart dropping to low 30's. I think after this I had a mental problem with it as I thought if I excercised I may drop dead.
Anyway after doing a heart smart class I got back into it and today I graduated took about 11 weeks. Week 7 was really hard but I have got there.
Now I need to speed up don't want to go back to intervals so intend to run the walk at my usual speed and go through the program again increasing the speed on the runs. As I am a treadmill runner this will be easier to monitor.
I know there are loads of others out there like me who think they can't.
But just keep trying and you may surprise yourself.

My goodness that is an amazing achievement.... you are one tough cookie to battle on after all you've been through... I think you will be inspiring for so many on here... huge well done to you 😎
All that and you're STILL smiling ! Fantastic and very well done.
Fantastic achievement! You are proof that this programme really can work for virtually everyone even with setbacks and ill health. You should be so proud of what you have done. And what a lovely photo. Hopefully your story can inspire others who perhaps come to this forum doubting they will be able to complete the couch25k programme!
