Old bird back on the perch...

...............again after a long (non jogging) break. I graduated some time ago and have finally run out of excuses as of 6am this morning. So starting from scratch wasn't quite as bad as I thought it was going to be. Loosing 2 stone in weight has made a difference so I am now planning to complete the full program before Christmas if all goes well. Nothing like having a goal and something to aim for. Any others out there who have done the program before but fell by the way-side? It'd be good to have some encouragement... Bex

Hiya Bex. I did the programme at the same time as you and DID keep going, but have had to take 3 months out due to a hip flexor injury. I'm almost at the point of starting again at W1R1, so will be a little bit behind you. How did it feel going back to it? I'm worried my knees will be weak again, so am going to take it very easy to start with. Good luck!

Hello! I remember you. It felt right getting back to it this morning albeit a bit of the spur of the moment decision last night. You definitely need to be in the mood for starting the program again. I don't usually keep to it strictly, I usually end up having the weekends off sometimes so I'm sure you'll catch me up soon enough but post on here when you get started and we'll keep each other going. Knees are tricky (I did something to one of mine this time last year on a plane trying to get into my seat and it set me back no end even with physio) so take it easy! Good luck to you too.

Hello sexy!😁

You'll get back, slow & steady is the way and determination!

Btw how are the weepy eyes now? Do they sting as well when they water? Mine do, it's dry eye syndrome, it's a nuisance. I use an eye ointment called Lacri-lube which helps and protects the eye and also hypromellose drops, get them from your doctor foc, if your a lady of a certain age..😊

No weepy eyes at the moment, I think that starts again when the weather is quite cold. But thanks for the info and if I'm afflicted again I'll give the ointment/drops combo a try. Certain age? Whatever do you mean? :)
