Procrastination!

So after procrastinating all morning (I'm good at that), avoiding going out because it was cold and windy, I finally put on my gear and set off. And I did it! I ran for 8 minutes - twice! I was so pleased with myself I could have skipped home. I didn't - my brain wanted to but my legs refused! Now for the challenge of 20 minutes on Friday - but I'll worry about that then and for this afternoon just enjoy the sense of achievement I'm getting after each run 😁

Great stuff - well done! :) Let the next run happen in its own time - definitely bask in the glow of today's success for now. And know that your legs are ready for Friday - it's just the brain that needs convincing...! ;)

Well done! It's only half an hour out of your day, and like you say, the sense of achievement is great - why put it off!...xx

Go you.. if the brain was willing to skip, then eventually the legs will be strong enough to follow!

Very well done...one step at a time, is the way ! :) Bask in the warm glow of success x

Well done - I'm the complete opposite to you, my legs always want to but my brain refuses. As for procrastination I'll run you a close thing for the overall championship........

Sometimes it helps to remind myself that in all the time I've been faffing about and putting it off, I would have been out and home again. As ANewMe2017 says, it's only half an hour out of your day :) Well done for getting out there -- and think how awesome you'll feel when you've done those 20 minutes!

Well done! I'm prone to a spot of procrastinating too but it's the days I've to push myself out the door that I'm proudest of. All the best with the next run.
