I think the first three weeks were all about getting used to the program and running itself for me. I had to learn to really REALLY slow down first. Maybe it's the same for you.
Some runs are easier now, sometimes I still struggle. But nothing beats the feeling when you reach cool down!
I definitely agree hills appear out of nowhere at the most inconvenient time. Well done for braving the early start and the elements! If you can keep going through that you're demonstrating the determination to do this!
